Investing.com - Elon Musk declared on Monday that he would prohibit the use of Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) devices within his companies if the iPhone manufacturer incorporates OpenAI into its operating system.
"That is an unacceptable security violation," the Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) CEO said on a post on X, adding that "visitors will have to check their Apple devices at the door, where they will be stored in a Faraday cage."
Earlier in the day, Apple had revealed a host of AI features across its apps and operating platforms, including a partnership with OpenAI to introduce ChatGPT technology to its devices.
Apple stated that it had designed its AI with privacy as a central focus, employing a combination of on-device processing and cloud computing.
