Investing.com - U.S. stock futures were trading slightly lower during Wednesday's evening trade, following a mixed session among major benchmark averages as market participants digested slowing ADP Nonfarm Employment Change data.
By 18:40 ET (22:40 GMT) Dow Jones futures, S&P 500 futures, and Nasdaq 100 futures were each trading 0.1% lower.
Ahead in Thursday's session, investors will be looking towards jobless claims for further clues into the health of the economy. While the stock market is closed on Friday for a public holiday, key data including average hourly earnings, nonfarm payrolls, and the unemployment rate is set to be released.
During Wednesday's regular trade, the Dow Jones Industrial Average added 80.3 points or 0.2% to 33,482.7, the S&P 500 fell 10.2 points or 0.3% to 4,090.4, and the Nasdaq Composite lost 129.5 points or 1.1% to 11,996.9.
On the bond markets, United States 10-Year rates were at 3.309%.
