Investing.com - U.S. stock futures were trading higher during Thursday’s evening deals, after major benchmark averages finished the regular session mixed as investors remained hesitant amid continued earnings reports and further positive inflation data.
By 7:15pm ET (11:15pm GMT) Dow Jones Futures, S&P 500 Futures and Nasdaq 100 Futures were each trading 0.1% higher.
In extended deals, Rivian Automotive Inc (NASDAQ:RIVN) fell 2.1% after reporting Q2 losses of $1.89 per share versus expected losses $1.63 per share on revenue of $364 million versus $335.38 million expected.
Illumina (NASDAQ:ILMN) shed 15.3% after reporting Q2 EPS of $0.57, below $0.63 expected, while revenue came in at $1.16 billion versus $1.22 billion expected.
Toast Inc (NYSE:TOST) lifted 11.3% after the company reported Q2 losses of $0.11 per share, slightly better than expected losses of $0.12, while revenue came in at $675 million versus $651.28 million expected.
Payoneer Global Inc (NASDAQ:PAYO) lifted 18.1% after reporting Q2 EPS of $0.01 versus expected losses of $0.06 per share, while revenue were reported at $148.2 million versus $131.48 million expected.
During Thursday’s regular trading, Dow Jones Industrial Average added 27.2 points or 0.1%, to finish at 33,336.7. The S&P 500 closed down 0.1% at 4,207.3 and the NASDAQ Composite slumped 0.6% to close at 12,779.91.
On the data front, July’s producer price index showed a surprise decline from the previous month, falling 0.5%, below estimated gains of 0.2%.
On the bond markets, United States 10-Year rates were at 2.889%.
