Investing.com - U.S. stock futures were trading in a tight range during Tuesday's evening deals, following a negative session among major benchmark averages as market participants returned to trade after the long weekend.
By 6:40pm ET (10:40pm GMT) Dow Jones Futures and S&P 500 Futures were flat while Nasdaq 100 Futures dipped 0.1%.
In extended deals, Gitlab Inc (NASDAQ:GTLB) added 4.2%, after the company reported Q2 EPS of $0.01 versus expected losses of $0.03 per share. Revenue was reported at $139.6 million versus $129.82 million expected.
AeroVironment (NASDAQ:AVAV) popped 12.2%, reporting Q1 EPS of $1.00 versus $0.31 expected on revenues of $152.3 million versus $132.79 million expected.
Mitek Systems (NASDAQ:MITK) added 12.4% after the company reported Q1 EPS of $0.31 versus $0.27 expected, with revenues coming in at $45.7 million versus $43.14 million expected.
Asana Inc (NYSE:ASAN) fell 2.3%, reporting Q2 EPS losses of $0.04 per share versus expected losses of $0.11 per share, while revenue came in at $162.5 million versus $157.91 million expected.
Ahead in the session, Markit and ISM services PMIs will be closely scrutinized by investors, as well as trade balance data.
Among earnings, companies including Copart Inc (NASDAQ:CPRT), GameStop Corp (NYSE:GME), Core & Main Inc (NYSE:CNM), American Eagle Outfitters Inc (NYSE:AEO), C3.ai Inc (NYSE:AI) and ChargePoint Holdings Inc (NYSE:CHPT) are slated to report earnings results.
During Tuesday's regular trade, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 195.7 points or 0.6% to 34,642, the S&P 500 dipped 18.9 points or 0.4% to 4,496.8 and the NASDAQ Composite fell 10.9 points or 0.1% to 14,021.
On the bond markets, United States 10-Year rates lifted to 4.264%.
