Investing.com - US stock futures were trading slightly lower during Wednesday's evening deals, following a positive close for major benchmark averages as investors digested the latest jobless claims data ahead of the Thanksgiving public holiday.
By 6:20 pm ET (11:20 pm GMT) Dow Jones Futures, S&P 500 Futures and Nasdaq 100 Futures declined 0.1% apiece.
During Wednesday's regular session, the Dow Jones Industrial Average added 184.7 points or 0.5% to 35,273, the S&P 500 gained 18.5 points or 0.4% to 4,556.6 and the NASDAQ Composite lifted 65.9 points or 0.5% to 14,265.9.
On the data front, core durable goods orders were flat on a monthly basis, while initial jobless claims came in at 209K versus 225K expected.
On the bond markets, United States 10-Year rates were near fresh 9-week lows of 4.408%.
