Investing.com - U.S. stock futures were trading in a tight range during Thursday's evening deals, after major benchmark averages extended declines during the regular session as higher Treasury yields sapped risk appetite.
By 7:05pm ET (11:05pm GMT) Dow Jones Futures, S&P 500 Futures and Nasdaq 100 Futures were each trading in a range of 0.1%.
In extended deals, Scholastic Corp (NASDAQ:SCHL) shed 15.3% after reporting Q1 losses of $2.20 per share versus expected losses of $1.20 per share on revenues of $228.5 million versus $272.52 million expected.

Ahead in Friday's trade, investors will be looking towards preliminary services and manufacturing PMIs, as well as a speech from Fed Governor Cook.
During Thursday's regular deals, the Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 370.5 points or 1.1% to 34,070.4, the S&P 500 dipped 72.2 dipped or 1.6% to 4,330 and the NASDAQ Composite shed 245.1 points or 1.8% to 13,224.
On the bond markets, United States 10-Year rates were at fresh 16-year highs of 4.494%.
