Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Healthcare, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 2.33% to hit a new 52-week low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 0.25% or 1.0 points to trade at 401.5 at the close. Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb) added 0.21% or 0.3 points to end at 145.3 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was up 0.08% or 0.3 points to 385.9 in late trade.
Biggest losers included William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH), which lost 10.64% or 25.0 points to trade at 210.0 in late trade. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) declined 8.17% or 24.3 points to end at 273.0 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) shed 3.60% or 5.3 points to 143.3.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 105 to 21 and 18 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.71% or 0.53 to $73.81 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.99% or 0.83 to hit $83.33 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.31% or 15.80 to trade at $1189.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.41% to 6.5000, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4601.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.22% at 95.52.
