Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Chemicals, Healthcare and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 2.24%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb), which rose 0.41% or 3.0 points to trade at 735.0 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) fell 0.54% or 1.9 points to end at 348.0 and DSV (CO:DSV) was down 0.77% or 4.0 points to 517.8 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb), which lost 4.10% or 5.0 points to trade at 117.1 in late trade. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) declined 3.64% or 9.7 points to end at 256.9 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) shed 3.47% or 5.0 points to 139.2.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 93 to 26 and 11 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.73% or 0.41 to $56.66 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.06% or 0.70 to hit $66.82 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.19% or 14.30 to trade at $1213.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.13% to 6.5891, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4617.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 96.94.
