Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Personal & Household Goods and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.55% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED), which rose 1.87% or 7.00 points to trade at 382.00 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) added 0.82% or 5.2 points to end at 638.6 and Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) was down 0.03% or 0.02 points to 61.30 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Genmab (CO:GEN), which lost 3.69% or 37.0 points to trade at 967.0 in late trade. Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) declined 2.92% or 6.0 points to end at 197.7 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) shed 2.77% or 240 points to 8432.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 91 to 31 and 15 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 3.63% or 2.47 to $70.55 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 2.36% or 1.76 to hit $76.31 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.49% or 6.20 to trade at $1262.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.30% to 6.3864, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4513.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 94.22.
