Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Chemicals, Industrials and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.93% to hit a new 3-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which rose 2.11% or 0.78 points to trade at 37.71 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) added 1.18% or 6.0 points to end at 513.0 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was up 0.87% or 6.5 points to 754.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which lost 3.58% or 13.8 points to trade at 371.6 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 3.23% or 350 points to end at 10480 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) shed 3.04% or 320 points to 10190.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 102 to 20 and 11 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.21% or 0.12 to $56.86 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.44% or 0.28 to hit $63.24 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.39% or 4.95 to trade at $1279.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.02% to 6.3808, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4404.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 94.45.
