Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.76% to hit a new 3-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which rose 1.15% or 3.9 points to trade at 343.4 at the close. Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) added 0.27% or 0.90 points to end at 338.00 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was up 0.16% or 0.8 points to 500.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which lost 7.17% or 24.1 points to trade at 312.2 in late trade. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) declined 1.53% or 5.6 points to end at 360.8 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) shed 1.28% or 3.0 points to 231.5.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 88 to 35 and 14 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.41% or 0.83 to $58.12 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.20% or 0.13 to hit $63.60 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.60% or 7.67 to trade at $1294.97 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.22% to 6.2505, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4417.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 92.78.
