Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Personal & Household Goods and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.47%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which rose 2.10% or 5.1 points to trade at 248.4 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) added 1.69% or 19.5 points to end at 1172.0 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) was up 1.47% or 5.00 points to 346.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which lost 2.76% or 315 points to trade at 11115 in late trade. Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) declined 2.51% or 8.9 points to end at 346.1 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) shed 2.49% or 10.8 points to 423.6.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 69 to 55 and 21 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.48% or 0.30 to $63.26 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.07% or 0.05 to hit $68.87 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.29% or 3.80 to trade at $1317.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.16% to 6.2285, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4470.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 92.04.
