Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Healthcare and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.45%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which rose 2.88% or 9.6 points to trade at 343.0 at the close. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) added 1.60% or 3.70 points to end at 234.30 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was up 1.16% or 2.3 points to 201.1 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Genmab (CO:GEN), which lost 5.23% or 58.0 points to trade at 1052.0 in late trade. Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) declined 2.02% or 7.10 points to end at 344.60 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) shed 1.51% or 9.5 points to 621.5.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 70 to 49 and 25 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.65% or 0.37 to $56.77 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.25% or 0.79 to hit $62.55 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.60% or 7.40 to trade at $1249.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.20% to 6.3260, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4433.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 93.86.
