Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.25%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which rose 0.66% or 70 points to trade at 10710 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 0.39% or 40 points to end at 10180 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was up 0.22% or 1.5 points to 673.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED), which lost 2.18% or 7.50 points to trade at 336.50 in late trade. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) declined 2.00% or 6.2 points to end at 303.8 and Genmab (CO:GEN) shed 1.23% or 13.0 points to 1040.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 70 to 57 and 17 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.02% or 0.01 to $59.63 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.20% or 0.13 to hit $65.86 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.39% or 5.10 to trade at $1296.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.54% to 6.2292, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4454.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.38% at 92.31.
