Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Services and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.22%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which rose 4.01% or 1.51 points to trade at 39.16 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 0.87% or 100 points to end at 11600 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 0.76% or 90 points to 12000 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG), which lost 4.38% or 17.00 points to trade at 371.00 in late trade. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 2.07% or 13.0 points to end at 616.0 and Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) shed 0.99% or 0.85 points to 84.95.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 61 to 45 and 25 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.19% or 0.61 to $50.69 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.00% or 0.57 to hit $56.37 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.53% or 6.79 to trade at $1295.69 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.13% to 6.2848, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4440.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 92.89.
