Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 2.34%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 5.69% or 46.0 points to trade at 854.8 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) added 5.00% or 392 points to end at 8232 and Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb) was up 4.99% or 6.2 points to 130.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED), which added 0.10% or 0.40 points to trade at 414.30 in late trade. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 0.91% or 3.7 points to end at 409.8 and Tryg A/S (CO:TRYG) gained 0.92% or 1.4 points to 154.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 92 to 30 and 18 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.72% or 0.49 to $67.10 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.31% or 0.24 to hit $77.38 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.11% or 1.30 to trade at $1231.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.18% to 6.5553, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4618.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 96.40.
