Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.57% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 4.20% or 17.6 points to trade at 436.6 at the close. Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) added 2.35% or 1.75 points to end at 76.25 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was up 2.32% or 5.40 points to 238.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Genmab (CO:GEN), which lost 0.10% or 1.0 points to trade at 1031.0 in late trade. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) unchanged 0.00% or 0.0 points to end at 339.7 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) gained 0.24% or 1.5 points to 626.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 74 to 51 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.68% or 0.39 to $56.94 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.24% or 0.15 to hit $63.08 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.67% or 8.40 to trade at $1265.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.46% to 6.3071, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4428.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.38% at 93.11.
