Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.39% to hit a new 3-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (CO:DSV), which rose 3.33% or 17.2 points to trade at 534.2 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) added 3.25% or 12.8 points to end at 407.0 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 2.48% or 10.2 points to 421.7 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 4.07% or 19.1 points to trade at 449.8 in late trade. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) declined 0.82% or 3.8 points to end at 459.1 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) shed 0.31% or 1.1 points to 359.3.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 84 to 33 and 24 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.69% or 0.48 to $69.78 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.83% or 0.61 to hit $74.54 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.45% or 5.60 to trade at $1226.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.55% to 6.3880, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.47% at 94.42.
