Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Financials and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.32%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which rose 5.53% or 527 points to trade at 10055 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 5.03% or 450 points to end at 9400 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was up 2.22% or 4.7 points to 216.1 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which lost 0.42% or 1.9 points to trade at 447.2 in late trade. TDC A/S (CO:TDC) declined 0.04% or 0.02 points to end at 50.14 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) gained 0.28% or 2.0 points to 710.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 80 to 37 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.89% or 0.60 to $66.44 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.04% or 0.81 to hit $76.75 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.32% or 4.10 to trade at $1296.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.18% to 6.3773, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4442.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 94.09.
