Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Healthcare, Consumer Services and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.30%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 17.76% or 181.0 points to trade at 1200.0 at the close. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) added 5.56% or 12.40 points to end at 235.40 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was up 2.81% or 11.4 points to 417.1 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which lost 2.24% or 226 points to trade at 9874 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 1.77% or 170 points to end at 9450 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) shed 1.36% or 8.4 points to 607.8.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 57 to 51 and 25 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 2.06% or 1.27 to $62.95 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.61% or 1.05 to hit $66.47 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.08% or 1.10 to trade at $1333.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.47% to 6.0344, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4476.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.46% at 89.62.
