Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Personal & Household Goods and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.22%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 8.73% or 31.5 points to trade at 392.3 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 6.26% or 35.0 points to end at 594.0 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was up 1.93% or 23.0 points to 1213.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which lost 2.87% or 16.5 points to trade at 559.0 in late trade. Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) declined 0.94% or 4.7 points to end at 495.3 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) shed 0.58% or 1.2 points to 206.8.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 77 to 38 and 21 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.33% or 0.19 to $57.92 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.28% or 0.18 to hit $63.20 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.07% or 0.90 to trade at $1295.30 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.18% to 6.2657, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4428.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 93.07.
