Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare, Real Estate and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.15%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb), which rose 5.00% or 14.9 points to trade at 312.7 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) added 2.03% or 6.7 points to end at 337.1 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was up 0.53% or 1.1 points to 208.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which lost 3.49% or 20.0 points to trade at 553.0 in late trade. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) declined 3.13% or 12.4 points to end at 384.0 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) shed 1.94% or 11.5 points to 581.5.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 68 to 40 and 26 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.84% or 0.43 to $51.88 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.12% or 0.64 to hit $57.81 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.11% or 1.50 to trade at $1306.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.11% to 6.3032, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4442.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 92.99.
