Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Real Estate sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.96% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which rose 3.01% or 236 points to trade at 8072 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 2.74% or 205 points to end at 7685 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was up 2.37% or 8.9 points to 384.4 in late trade.
Biggest losers included ISS A/S (CO:ISS), which lost 0.18% or 0.40 points to trade at 222.60 in late trade. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) declined 0.09% or 0.6 points to end at 661.6 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) gained 0.12% or 0.4 points to 347.3.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 68 to 49 and 17 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.01% or 0.01 to $67.06 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.46% or 0.33 to hit $72.17 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.98% or 12.10 to trade at $1227.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.47% to 6.3937, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4543.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.49% at 94.73.
