Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Healthcare, Consumer Goods and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.90%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 3.00% or 33.0 points to trade at 1132.0 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) added 2.26% or 17.0 points to end at 770.0 and Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) was up 1.81% or 1.32 points to 74.28 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which lost 0.96% or 3.9 points to trade at 402.1 in late trade. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 0.89% or 5.2 points to end at 577.0 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) shed 0.55% or 60 points to 10840.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 67 to 52 and 18 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.84% or 0.55 to $66.06 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.07% or 0.05 to hit $70.47 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.83% or 11.30 to trade at $1351.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.21% to 5.9926, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4443.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.37% at 88.86.
