Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Healthcare, Oil & Gas and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.83% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 6.28% or 65.0 points to trade at 1100.0 at the close. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) added 2.00% or 4.1 points to end at 209.3 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was up 1.82% or 9.0 points to 504.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA), which lost 0.73% or 0.56 points to trade at 76.28 in late trade. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 0.68% or 4.6 points to end at 671.0 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) shed 0.48% or 1.7 points to 354.3.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 67 to 63 and 12 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.97% or 0.60 to $61.41 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.60% or 0.41 to hit $67.66 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.30 to trade at $1321.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.22% to 6.1831, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4468.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 91.69.
