Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.82%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which rose 5.38% or 16.4 points to trade at 321.5 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) added 2.71% or 17.6 points to end at 666.4 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was up 2.55% or 27.0 points to 1085.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which lost 3.14% or 286 points to trade at 8836 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 2.82% or 240 points to end at 8270 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) shed 1.76% or 7.1 points to 397.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 68 to 51 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 2.57% or 1.74 to $65.89 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 2.10% or 1.53 to hit $71.28 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.41% or 17.20 to trade at $1201.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.21% to 6.5447, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4532.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 96.28.
