Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Industrials and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.81%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 5.60% or 53.8 points to trade at 1014.0 at the close. DSV (CO:DSV) added 2.90% or 15.0 points to end at 532.0 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) was up 2.00% or 170 points to 8690 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which lost 1.82% or 7.6 points to trade at 410.0 in late trade. Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) declined 1.00% or 2.1 points to end at 208.7 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) shed 0.25% or 1.2 points to 484.8.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 72 to 44 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.28% or 0.18 to $65.08 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.19% or 0.89 to hit $74.19 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.27% or 3.40 to trade at $1275.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.01% to 6.4313, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4535.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 94.67.
