Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.78% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 4.68% or 51.5 points to trade at 1151.5 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) added 2.93% or 12.5 points to end at 439.0 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 2.70% or 305 points to 11605 in late trade.
Biggest losers included ISS A/S (CO:ISS), which lost 0.94% or 2.30 points to trade at 242.00 in late trade. Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) declined 0.52% or 0.40 points to end at 75.88 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) shed 0.47% or 1.60 points to 339.20.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 76 to 47 and 22 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.11% or 0.07 to $61.51 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.03% or 0.02 to hit $67.64 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.30% or 4.00 to trade at $1318.30 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.50% to 6.2213, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.4467.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 92.07.
