Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.77%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa), which rose 3.20% or 235 points to trade at 7575 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) added 2.74% or 210 points to end at 7880 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 2.39% or 9.2 points to 394.7 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which lost 0.79% or 3.5 points to trade at 440.4 in late trade. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 0.24% or 1.0 points to end at 417.0 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) shed 0.23% or 1.8 points to 777.8.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 76 to 40 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.51% or 0.38 to $73.42 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.01% or 0.78 to hit $77.89 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.39% or 4.90 to trade at $1260.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.02% to 6.3460, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4535.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 93.84.
