Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Financials and Real Estate sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.72%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 2.21% or 12.0 points to trade at 555.5 at the close. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) added 1.94% or 4.70 points to end at 246.70 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) was up 1.84% or 10.0 points to 552.5 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which lost 1.24% or 4.5 points to trade at 357.7 in late trade. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 0.31% or 2.0 points to end at 633.0 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) shed 0.07% or 0.5 points to 711.0.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 69 to 53 and 18 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.56% or 0.28 to $50.16 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.50% or 0.28 to hit $55.34 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.06% or 14.07 to trade at $1311.13 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.12% to 6.2370, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4413.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 91.89.
