Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials, Consumer Services and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.69% to hit a new 52-week high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which rose 3.14% or 380 points to trade at 12480 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 2.84% or 330 points to end at 11950 and Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) was up 2.14% or 7.40 points to 352.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which lost 1.28% or 7.0 points to trade at 541.0 in late trade. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) declined 1.08% or 4.5 points to end at 414.0 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) shed 0.36% or 0.9 points to 246.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 75 to 55 and 14 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 2.25% or 1.14 to $51.80 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 2.62% or 1.48 to hit $57.90 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.05% or 13.68 to trade at $1311.18 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.89% to 6.2820, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4408.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.57% at 92.47.
