Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrials, Consumer Goods and Personal & Household Goods sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.66% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which rose 3.48% or 400 points to trade at 11910 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 3.05% or 340 points to end at 11500 and Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) was up 2.43% or 9.20 points to 388.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which lost 0.73% or 2.9 points to trade at 392.0 in late trade. Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) declined 0.69% or 0.60 points to end at 85.80 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) shed 0.55% or 2.0 points to 360.4.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 61 to 52 and 23 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.18% or 0.09 to $51.01 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.21% or 0.12 to hit $56.49 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.50% or 6.41 to trade at $1287.39 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.27% to 6.2863, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4438.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.17% at 92.93.
