Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Healthcare and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.65% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb), which rose 2.33% or 7.7 points to trade at 337.5 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) added 1.45% or 4.4 points to end at 307.1 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) was up 1.21% or 4.20 points to 351.70 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Genmab (CO:GEN), which lost 6.17% or 73.0 points to trade at 1110.0 in late trade. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) declined 1.57% or 6.3 points to end at 393.9 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) shed 1.48% or 9.5 points to 631.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 66 to 57 and 15 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.38% or 0.80 to $57.19 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.70% or 1.10 to hit $63.59 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.35% or 4.40 to trade at $1242.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.34% to 6.3453, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4424.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 94.13.
