Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Oil & Gas and Real Estate sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.48%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 4.72% or 27.2 points to trade at 603.6 at the close. TDC A/S (CO:TDC) added 1.95% or 0.76 points to end at 39.76 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) was up 1.27% or 4.2 points to 339.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which lost 1.82% or 9.8 points to trade at 527.6 in late trade. Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) declined 1.33% or 4.5 points to end at 334.9 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) shed 1.23% or 9.2 points to 740.4.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 62 to 60 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.78% or 0.50 to $63.80 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 1.35% or 0.95 to hit $69.31 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.07% or 0.90 to trade at $1334.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.20% to 6.0865, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4480.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 90.38.
