Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Financials and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.38%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which rose 2.90% or 9.9 points to trade at 350.9 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) added 2.16% or 4.6 points to end at 218.0 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 2.04% or 8.3 points to 415.9 in late trade.
Biggest losers included ISS A/S (CO:ISS), which lost 0.72% or 1.60 points to trade at 220.80 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 0.69% or 66 points to end at 9522 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) shed 0.58% or 1.6 points to 283.9.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 69 to 57 and 11 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.56% or 0.37 to $66.11 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.01% or 0.01 to hit $76.47 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.16% or 2.10 to trade at $1304.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.15% to 6.3201, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4496.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 93.57.
