Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Real Estate sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.35%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb), which rose 6.45% or 7.2 points to trade at 118.9 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 2.57% or 8.8 points to end at 350.7 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 2.16% or 9.9 points to 467.9 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Genmab (CO:GEN), which lost 4.12% or 40.0 points to trade at 930.0 in late trade. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) declined 1.35% or 3.3 points to end at 241.7 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) shed 0.80% or 2.1 points to 261.5.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 75 to 46 and 14 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 3.76% or 2.01 to $55.44 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 2.45% or 1.53 to hit $64.06 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.48% or 5.90 to trade at $1227.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.16% to 6.5526, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4617.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 96.615.
