Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financials, Consumer Services and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.33%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA), which rose 2.66% or 2.15 points to trade at 82.85 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) added 1.40% or 4.5 points to end at 325.0 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was up 1.06% or 2.6 points to 247.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which lost 1.66% or 0.60 points to trade at 35.54 in late trade. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) declined 1.43% or 3.1 points to end at 214.0 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) shed 1.11% or 7.0 points to 624.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 59 to 58 and 24 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.20% or 0.10 to $50.59 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $56.29 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.43% or 18.89 to trade at $1297.51 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.35% to 6.2346, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4404.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 92.02.
