Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Chemicals and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.29%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 2.49% or 15.0 points to trade at 618.5 at the close. Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) added 1.68% or 1.40 points to end at 84.75 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 1.46% or 8.0 points to 555.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which lost 1.88% or 230 points to trade at 12010 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 1.86% or 220 points to end at 11600 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) shed 1.29% or 9.0 points to 688.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 65 to 58 and 16 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.40% or 0.21 to $52.09 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.69% or 0.40 to hit $57.52 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.88% or 11.43 to trade at $1290.27 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.27% to 6.3263, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4415.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.31% at 93.10.
