Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Financials and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.28%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which rose 3.00% or 10.3 points to trade at 353.7 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) added 3.00% or 11.8 points to end at 405.7 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) was up 2.43% or 8.90 points to 375.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which lost 4.40% or 465 points to trade at 10100 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 4.09% or 410 points to end at 9620 and Genmab (CO:GEN) shed 2.95% or 31.0 points to 1019.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 60 to 59 and 17 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.29% or 0.18 to $61.61 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $65.25 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.01% or 0.10 to trade at $1331.30 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.16% to 6.0462, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4470.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 89.80.
