Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Personal & Household Goods and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.16%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 5.09% or 18.9 points to trade at 390.5 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 2.51% or 15.5 points to end at 632.5 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) was up 1.61% or 0.61 points to 38.43 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Genmab (CO:GEN), which lost 2.27% or 27.0 points to trade at 1165.0 in late trade. Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) declined 0.94% or 3.1 points to end at 325.6 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) shed 0.73% or 80 points to 10830.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 73 to 38 and 23 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.16% or 0.65 to $56.61 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 1.39% or 0.85 to hit $62.07 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.89% or 11.30 to trade at $1254.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.05% to 6.3118, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4419.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 93.63.
