Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Chemicals, Technology and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.10%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which rose 2.48% or 0.91 points to trade at 37.59 at the close. Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) added 2.22% or 8.20 points to end at 377.30 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was up 0.93% or 5.0 points to 543.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which lost 2.83% or 15.5 points to trade at 533.0 in late trade. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) declined 1.26% or 2.7 points to end at 212.4 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) shed 0.67% or 2.2 points to 328.6.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 56 to 55 and 21 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.75% or 0.37 to $49.66 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.47% or 0.26 to hit $55.88 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.81% or 10.29 to trade at $1285.19 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.14% to 6.3361, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4436.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 93.52.
