Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.01%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 3.47% or 15.2 points to trade at 453.0 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) added 2.37% or 29.0 points to end at 1255.0 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) was up 2.03% or 6.5 points to 326.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which lost 8.85% or 898 points to trade at 9252 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 8.29% or 795 points to end at 8795 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) shed 5.37% or 29.0 points to 510.6.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 70 to 47 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.21% or 0.15 to $71.64 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.83% or 0.66 to hit $79.94 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.09% or 1.20 to trade at $1290.30 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.02% to 6.3086, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4478.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 93.32.
