Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.01%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which rose 4.02% or 22.0 points to trade at 569.4 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) added 3.46% or 12.3 points to end at 367.3 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was up 1.54% or 8.0 points to 526.8 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Genmab (CO:GEN), which lost 2.32% or 30.0 points to trade at 1264.0 in late trade. Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) declined 0.91% or 2.7 points to end at 293.1 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) shed 0.69% or 2.70 points to 386.20.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 71 to 38 and 18 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was up 1.68% or 1.12 to $67.64 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.44% or 1.03 to hit $72.61 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.35% or 4.70 to trade at $1354.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.13% to 6.0130, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4482.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 89.28.
