Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financials, Industrials and Investment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.79%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA), which rose 4.64% or 310.0 points to trade at 6990.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) added 1.73% or 200.0 points to end at 11560.0 and Grupo Aval Acciones Y Valores Pf (CN:GAA_p) was up 0.43% or 5.0 points to 1180.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which fell 4.00% or 240.0 points to trade at 5760.0 at the close. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) declined 3.49% or 80.0 points to end at 2210.0 and Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU) was down 2.76% or 260.0 points to 9150.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 19 to 9 and 4 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.37% or 0.45 to $121.17 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 1.23% or 39.50 to hit $3258.50 , while the December Gold contract fell 1.28% or 14.40 to trade at $1106.60 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.03% to 3113.50, while BRL/COP rose 0.52% to 819.32.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.11% at 95.95.
