Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials, Investment and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.77%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Empresa De Energia De Bogota (CN:EEB), which rose 0.57% or 10.0 points to trade at 1750.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) added 0.22% or 20.0 points to end at 9000.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) was up 0.08% or 20.0 points to 24980.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which fell 5.49% or 390.0 points to trade at 6710.0 at the close. Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) declined 4.07% or 540.0 points to end at 12720.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was down 2.84% or 680.0 points to 23300.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 24 to 3 and 1 ended unchanged.
Shares in Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) fell to 3-years lows; losing 4.07% or 540.0 to 12720.0.
US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.12% or 0.15 to $121.03 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.64% or 20.00 to hit $3097.50 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.16% or 1.80 to trade at $1113.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.81% to 3063.00, while BRL/COP fell 2.14% to 765.98.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.08% at 96.33.
