Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Agriculture sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.40%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 5.49% or 350.0 points to trade at 6720.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU) added 5.16% or 410.0 points to end at 8350.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) was up 2.33% or 50.0 points to 2195.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which fell 2.21% or 280.0 points to trade at 12400.0 at the close. Bcolombia (CN:BIC) declined 1.99% or 500.0 points to end at 24680.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) was down 1.73% or 460.0 points to 26100.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 17 to 13 and 3 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.49% or 0.57 to $118.25 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 0.81% or 26.50 to hit $3279.00 , while the December Gold contract rose 1.13% or 12.60 to trade at $1131.60 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.51% to 2982.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.83% to 768.65.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.93% at 94.61.
