Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Financials, Investment and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which rose 2.33% or 30.0 points to trade at 1315.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) added 1.38% or 180.0 points to end at 13200.0 and Grupo Aval Acciones Y Valores Pf (CN:GAA_p) was up 1.28% or 15.0 points to 1185.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which fell 4.53% or 330.0 points to trade at 6950.0 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) declined 3.26% or 200.0 points to end at 5940.0 and Celsia SA (CN:CEL) was down 2.97% or 110.0 points to 3590.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 19 to 9 and 1 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for December delivery was up 1.79% or 2.12 to $120.85 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 1.50% or 48.50 to hit $3183.00 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.39% or 4.40 to trade at $1127.30 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.16% to 3117.50, while BRL/COP rose 0.96% to 767.95.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.09% at 96.05.
