Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Services, Public Services and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.02%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 15.07% or 410.0 points to trade at 3130.0 at the close. Corp Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) added 0.55% or 200.0 points to end at 36280.0 and Cemargos (CN:CCB) was up 0.35% or 40.0 points to 11400.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which lost 2.07% or 220.0 points to trade at 10420.0 in late trade. Conconcret (CN:CIC) declined 1.48% or 15.0 points to end at 1000.0 and Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) shed 1.47% or 0.3 points to 20.1.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 20 to 8 and 5 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was down 1.29% or 1.86 to $142.57 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 1.16% or 27.50 to hit $2342.50 , while the February Gold contract fell 0.59% or 7.00 to trade at $1169.50 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 2.64% to 3002.50, while BRL/COP fell 2.22% to 881.09.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.38% at 100.54.
