Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 1.65% to hit a new 3-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which rose 3.83% or 60.0 points to trade at 1625.0 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) added 2.32% or 220.0 points to end at 9720.0 and Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) was up 0.55% or 100.0 points to 18400.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1), which lost 6.35% or 2040.0 points to trade at 30080.0 in late trade. Bcolombia (CN:BIC) declined 5.99% or 1840.0 points to end at 28880.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) shed 4.51% or 1460.0 points to 30940.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 21 to 7 and 2 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 1.77% or 2.20 to $126.58 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.61% or 13.00 to hit $2118.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.40% or 5.14 to trade at $1274.74 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.15% to 3010.67, while BRL/COP rose 1.60% to 930.94.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 94.75.
