Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Public Services, Financials and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 1.22%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Conconcret (CN:CIC), which unchanged 0.00% or 0.0 points to trade at 1020.0 at the close. Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) fell 0.22% or 40.0 points to end at 18420.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) was down 0.33% or 10.0 points to 2985.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC), which lost 3.02% or 0.8 points to trade at 25.7 in late trade. Etb (CN:ETB) declined 2.43% or 12.0 points to end at 482.0 and Bcolombia (CN:BIC) shed 1.98% or 580.0 points to 28700.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 27 to 2 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was up 0.37% or 0.45 to $120.67 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 0.53% or 10.00 to hit $1900.50 , while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.12% or 1.50 to trade at $1258.60 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.12% to 2999.50, while BRL/COP rose 1.54% to 910.32.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.30% at 93.92.
